To be successful in the retail environment, the graphic design of the packaging must trigger the consumer, be recognizable and clearly communicate the sales arguments.
Did you know that +/- 75% of purchasing decisions
taken on the shop floor!
So the battle against your competitors largely takes place on the shop floor.
Packaging is of great importance
To create appealing and functional packaging, Ryde Style works in 2 phases:
- 1. Research/analysis
A clear assignment description is essential for a smoothly running project and good, functional and attractive packaging. After the assignment description has been drawn up, we start with a market, user and material research.
We sketch packaging and make prototypes at an early stage to test feasibility.
- 2. Design / Prototyping
In this phase we design and optimize the packaging and draw the die-cutting template. The packaging manufacturer will develop a prototype and the customer will test this prototype.
If the prototype is correct, the packaging graphics/styling is developed.
The packaging chart, shape and materials should be attractive to the buyers
BUT THE PACKAGING MUST ALSO PROVIDE PROTECTION TO THE PRODUCT

The First Impression Counts
Sometimes less is a lot more
Apple and Microsoft, who doesn't know the two superpowers. The products, designs and views differ, we know that.
But look at the packaging. What if Microsoft had designed the packaging for the Apple iPod? What do you get then? A box where all the information is crammed onto the front, with the result that the consumer ultimately sees nothing.
Unpacking the Apple products is a party. You want to keep the packaging, because even that is beautiful. They do that well 🙂
Label designs
Designs voor ``bicycle tire sealants``
The same product, the same information, different looks.
We designed the labels for their “One Shot Sealant” for Panchowheels and Tune.
Striking, clear brand and product information; those were the key words.
