Ryde Style sees product design as a valuable business tool to differentiate, innovate and grow. We take care of the entire design process, from the first idea or sketch to the model for final production. Of course you can also employ us for smaller projects, where we take care of part of the design process.
We mainly design
cycling and sports related products
Bicycle frames and parts, clothing, helmets and bags; Ryde Style designs it.
Our design approach
To create successful products, Ryde Style works in 3 phases:
- 1. Research/analysis
A clear assignment description is essential for a smoothly running project and a successful product. Together with our customer, we draw up the assignment description and a “program of requirements”.
After the assignment description, the target group research and the atmosphere collages, we start brainstorming and generating ideas. This is often accomplished with quick hand sketches, small test models (to demonstrate feasibility) and CAD/Illustrator underlays.
- 2. Concept design
The ideas are assessed by Ryde Style and the customer. Potential concepts are developed in more detail, taking into account all influencing factors.
We regularly hold (Skype) meetings and have contact by email and telephone, with which we involve the customer in the design strategy and concept design process.
- 3. Realization
This final phase is focused on final production and is largely focused on defining every aspect of the product. Ryde Style will generate 3D CAD drawings. Engineering and prototypes (SLA, SLS) will be done in collaboration with companies specialized in this.
